200NL QQ in reraised pot. Sort of deep.
Villain is 25/18/2.6 over 500 hands. We have played about 100 hands at this table and stayed out of each others way. I think this is actually the first time I have 3-bet him at this table. So he basically has no reason to think I'm full of it.
Maybe I should have bet the turn. Bet/fold? His large turnbet really confused me though. On one hand I really have no reason to think he is floating me, and I doubt he would bet JJ here. But why would he make such a huge turnbet, when a much smaller bet would still mean he could push river. Kind of seems like he is committing himself with a medium strength hand. So what does he have? A set/AA/KK, or a 56s/78s kind of hand. Very confused. Running so bad lately and probably playing pretty bad as well. Re: 200NL QQ in reraised pot. Sort of deep.
If u call here, u basicly commit urself, so i think thats wrong, id never call but CRAI or fold.
The problem is that the board is really dry, he could easily have a set here.. the big turn bet is weird indeed as a smaller bet will commit alot of hands too, but im probably folding here, most of the time, unless i got a good read about his play post flop. |

Given how deep you are and that you are oop, I like your line, and I fold the turn. If he takes you off the best hand, congratulate him for only taking 15% of your stack.

Agree. Good fold. What are you beating here? The odd turn bet could be just that -- an odd looking bet by AA, KK, or a set designed to make QQ call.

You are only beating 1010-JJ imo.

bet more on the flop. His play really feels like AA to me trying to make sure he busts your QQ/KK.

Re: 200NL QQ in reraised pot. Sort of deep.
Why is a bigger flopbet superior? It's super dry and I usually bet somewhere between 1/2 to 2/3 pot in reraised pots. No more needed to get the money in eventually and not as concerned with draws usually.
