Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
flop raise is good..
dont raise the turn, that will be over playing your hand. I think it is 50/50 if you have the best hand or not. |

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
Just as some feedback from the OP, to neeel and whoever else:
These are stakes where I have full confidence the average unknown's moves won't always add up for rational hand reading. Narrowing their ranges to the only hand(s) that makes sense to you is an error, I think. This of course changes when we know the player better or the stakes rise. |

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
flop raise is good. we want some things to fold (gutshots mostly), the pot is pretty big, and it's for value.
raising the big streets is a waste of money. |

They were both winners. [/ QUOTE ] You guys guessing the outcome are forgetting the interesting possibility villain and I both won. KO was onto something there. |

Re: Along for the ride (TPMK on a paired board)
[ QUOTE ]
flop raise is goot, provided you can fold to a 3-bet. In this case you can be sure he has trips. On the turn I put him on KT... a) open limps PF b) was not sure about his kicker on teh flop (villain fears AK) c) improves to a FH and is scared it gets checked through ...or QJ. a) dito b) wants to pump his draw on the flop c) makes his straight and is scared it gets checked through I can't help the feeling that we're done with our hand on the turn. The calldown is merely for curiosity. [/ QUOTE ] so nitty. fold to a flop 3-bet? ************ Has anyone mentioned the possile fD BB coudl have? I'm suprised there is not more support for turn raise. I tend to let others take the lead here as well; but that pot is getting pretty big |
