25 NL: Flopped Nut Straight OOP, Line Check: How to Extract?
No reads on villain, as I literally just sat down a hand ago.
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $12.45 BB: $29.30 UTG: $25.00 MP: $33.70 Hero (CO): $25.35 BTN: $28.95 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $1.00</font>, BTN calls $1.00, 2 folds Flop: ($2.35) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $1.75</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $6.00</font>, Hero calls $4.25 Turn: ($14.35) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN checks River: ($14.35) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $7.00</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises all-in to $21.95</font>, Hero calls all-in for $11.35 Uncalled bet of $3.60 returned to BTN Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero Pot Size: $51.05 ($2.55 Rake) Been in the midst of a downswing so just making sure I'm getting the most out of this pot. I didn't 3bet flop because it lets a lot of hands that may want to see where they're at get away, and with no flushes to worry about I don't need to tax anything. Turn blanked so I checked hoping to CRAI since not much changed. River was a great card so I made a standard half pot value bet, and any Q likely raises and pays me off. Thoughts? |

Re: 25 NL: Flopped Nut Straight OOP, Line Check: How to Extract?
Pair + str8 draw isn't folding to flop push, 2 pair will have a hard time folding since a shove by you looks like AK..
I'm having a hard time seeing many hands that hit this flop folding to a shove on the flop, and any hand that didn't you won't extract anything from anyway. I guess I think a flop shove is more +EV on average than this line because his flop raise on this board means a hand he can't let go just about always. It hits everything except pairs <99 in your range (and just about everything in his). |
