Yeah, similar memories of The Match Game. CNR, Gene Rayburn, Brett Somers, Elaine Joyce et al, they were all pretty entertaining.

I was kind of wasted when I saw it... but I remember thinking how strange it was that no one corrected him. Like, either R.Dawson or B.White should have pointed out that having someone with an IQ of 20 be on a show where thinking and writing are prominently featured is not the best idea.

I was always under the impression that The Match Game in the 1970's was the equivalent of Hollywood Squares in the 1980's-90's...that is, where B and C-list celebrities go to die.
