Let me give you a personal example....Playing live last night...got to the final table and was the shortstack....I managed to bob and weave and fold a lot til we were down to 3 players (including me)....I managed to do the chip and a chair thing...How...not by playing the cards...by playing the people...If I had been playing the cards I never would have went all in with Q-9...I think I was dominated...but I ended up winning the hand to double up...After that I managed to grow my tiny stack by using the aggression of my opponents against them...I got one player with a large stack trying to stack me and stay in large pots so I won't win 'em and another one bluff raise stealing when he thinks I'm weak...I got lucky with the cards usually when I was dominated but if I hadn't made the situational read and known their tendencies pretty well I would have been blinded out waiting on a king or an ace....So I won that tourney...
