The Economist book series
Hey guys,
I was at the airport today and had nothing to read so I picked up The Economist's Guide to Financial Markets (4th ed.) I was wondering if anyone has experience with these books (ive seen the magazine comes highly recommended on these boards). Im still very new to investing but starting to get a bit of a clue and Im trying to compile a bit of a library. From the series the books Im thinking about getting are Primary: Guide to financial markets Guide to analyzing companies Guide to investment strategy International Dictionary of Finance (dunno about this one) Mapping the market (mayyyybe seems a bit of a TA book tho so maybe not, maybe 2ndary) Secondary: Emerging markets Guide to Economic Indicators Dealing with Financial Risk (sounds interesting but could be over my head for awhile) China's Stockmarket Anyways any info would be helpful. Also, I am aware of the reading list in the sticky and will probably pick up most (all maybe) of the value investing books. -Mike |
