One thing is, anyone obersving this surely won't resteal much from you later. Which is nice.

that's not a reason on it's own... you aren't playing with pros here

[/ QUOTE ]

Uhm, no it is certainly not a reason on it's own, I didn't say that. It's still a point in the discussion though.

i agree with fiksdal

you got a feeling that hes gonna reraise you
then ask yourself do i wanna call with this hand ??
after you answered that qeustion you can either fold or raise

qeustion even tho its putting your tourney life on the line wouldnt pushing be better ? seeing raising from button just gives BB more FE when he pushes ?

wasn't trying to sound like an ass, just thought that the point wasn't important to this hand/situation... not that i don't first ask myself if that is relevent.

good to know you consider it too

i'm implying you don't neeed to fret about it here

I mean.. this call is sometimes good, but his range has to be pretty wide for you to have like the 40%ish equity you need.

The call is obv thin but not too bad I think. It's really hard for anyone to tell you because this is comes down to feel. You have to decide for yourself how big his range is.

On a side note, limping here is not as bad as you make it sound, especially because sb has you covered. Ansky had a post in his blog here about a hand where Gigabet limped in on the button midway through a tournament. I don't know how deep the stacks were, but I'd assume limping with KTo and 27 BBs is probably profitable if openlimping with 23o is ever profitable. I'm sure he had an extra block though
