yah, I don't see why we should take the lead from him here.

fair enough, if he bets the river too do we like a push over the top for value, or just a call?

Probably push, he'll be fairly committed.

I wouldn't really mind a turn push if there was some kind of draw you could rep on the turn but I don't really like a shove when another blank peels off on the turn though.

G,

I like your line a lot more on that board. It's amazing how many people will miniraise QJ there to "see where they're at" and fold to the reraise when they discover they're behind

[/ QUOTE ]

How do you know they had QJ?

parlay, is the reason behind your 3 bet to induce the 4 bet bluff on a board like this?

Play on ub and they have a fold and show button.

Given the size of the pot I would probably just call the turn.

i'd 3 bet the flop

if i called the flop i'd call the turn

you just aren't giving the guy any real opportunity to make a sizable mistake

[/ QUOTE ]

Calling allows him to continue to bluff into us with a worse hand which is a mistake. Bet/3bet allows him to play almost perfectly against us when he has TT/JJ or a smaller pp and stacks us off when he shows us a set.

You're gonna hate me, but i'll tell you the straight truth. You are playing really crappy right now. You need to move to 1/2 or cut down on the number of tables you are playing. Last night, I watched 5 or 6 hands that were completely botched. Most of them do to a lack of reads and carelessness.

On this hand in question that particular villain wasn't semibluffing or raising one pair. In a vacuum, this hand wasn't terrible there were a couple of others that were much worse imo.
Go ahead and flame me if you want.
