Default running bad or playing bad?

2/4, sb had 400, I cover

I'm in mp w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], raise to 16, sb who is 36/11 calls.

flop is Q83 rainbow. sb checks, I bet 28, sb min c/r, I call

turn is 4, sb bets 90, I push.

anybody do anything differently?

i'd 3 bet the flop

if i called the flop i'd call the turn

you just aren't giving the guy any real opportunity to make a sizable mistake

i think this is good vs the typical 36/11 calling station.

are we 3 betting the flop and folding to a push? I can't imagine that we are, right?

so if we 3 bet the flop we're allowing him to get away from an AQ type hand for cheaper, but we're still stacking off here when we're behind, right?

Haha, he's not folding a queen, especially not AQ.

G,

I like your line a lot more on that board. It's amazing how many people will miniraise QJ there to "see where they're at" and fold to the reraise when they discover they're behind

I kind of prefer calling down to induce bets. TT will fold for 3, but you'd be amazed on how many bullets they fire if you show weakness.
