1 year ago: just starting to play poker for fun with friends, rarely for money. Played for gummi bears etc. with my now ex-gf and friends, the most money I played for was a 5$ donkngo. I distincly remember us having an argument about whether trips beat 2 pair and having to look up on the internet the hand rankings, that is how new I was to the game. (I argued that trips was better though, take that bitches)
Now: Taking a break as school begins. All summer however I was playing almost exclusively live 4/8 limit at casino, 1/2 NL at home game, and some donkaments online for fun.
