Default 1/3 Wymm vs Drunk tourist.

Vilain is a drunk tourist, pretty loose agro, saw him trying to trap a lot and said earlier in the session that he would smooth call with 2 pairs/set on the flop to get more value after.

He limps CO and button limps I raise to 18 with AJs in SB both calls.

Flop Jh 8h 6d. I lead out 30, he raises to 75 button folds.

Here its clear to me that I have him beat 90% of the time as with a better hand he would try to trap both me and button.

So I am putting him on either somekind of combos draw or a worse J. After thinking a bit I move all in (300$, he had me covered).

He thinks a long time and calls and tables 85 of hearts for flush + gutshot draw. Obv he hits a flush.

Anyway for me to play it in a different way like calling and shoving the turn if no draw get there ? I though about it but figures I could get bluffed out if an heart comes and he has a straight draw (or the otherway arround), I was also scared of trapping my self if a K/Q comes + I didnt have position.

All of that made me shove taking a very little edge on a deep stack donk.

Any though?

i assume the 6 was heart and not the 8. this looks fine, a drunk tourist could easily have Jx, 8x, oesd, gutshot, combo draw. so you are ahead of his range.
playing this any other way doesnt make sense as there are so many turn cards that kill your action and you should be trying to get as much money in while ahead and you are doing that by shoving the flop.

edit: wait, w/ 85[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] he has a pair and a flush draw, but not a gutshot.

You are pretty far ahead of his range but your hand isn't that strong. Pushing is best.

not only is this ultra-results-oriented but i'm pretty sure you just called 100BB stack a "deep stack". lol.

bring more buyins next time.
