NL 25 AK flops top 2, flush gets there on turn
I can't say enough about how much I got [censored] today. At one point I had made back everything I had lost for just long enough to breathe a sigh of relief before getting [censored] again. Whatever you guys don't care I play for 25 dollars at a time. Anyhoo, sorting through the devastation, I've been trying to find hands that I thought were coolers but maybe were not, or at least were not so bad that I couldn't have minimized my losses. I found this one. I should have checked the turn right? Then called or value bet a non spade river? Villain was 30/3 after a small sample.

Re: NL 25 AK flops top 2, flush gets there on turn
Probably check river behind and call whatever on the river. As played your getting 5:1 and your boat odds are 11:1 and it REALLY looks like he has a flush.
It's almost impossible to fold getting 5:1 though so call and prepare to c/f the river. |

Re: NL 25 AK flops top 2, flush gets there on turn
I would bet more on the turn - $8 and call a push since you have top two pair + nut flush draw. I think not betting losses value from hands like AQ/AJ/A8/K8 that might call/raise another bet on the turn.
I bet $8 and call a push. |

He's probably got the flush but you should atleast call to see what the river brings you.

I did end up pushing, he had KK and I didn't improve. Idiots like this who have no clue were pwning me relentlessly all day. |
