yea i still don't think it will do anything though, the steam won't be in contact with any of the areas that are actually congested (which are in the sinuses), correct me if i'm wrong though cause it would be nice to have a remedy for this, it's annoying as hell

Fwiw, it was a serious reply and it really worked for me. Got the tip from one of the stewardesses. I assume they have some experience with such things. The steam really cleared [censored] up.

Might only work for "short term" congestion caused by pressure change though.
