I mix cash and tournies.

For some people who are reasonably competent at poker, I don't get why they play these micro-multis in addition to the bigger buyins. Might as well just nit up 2/4 NL or something.

A bunch of the times during the week I don't even think its worth grinding multis. I only play tournies if there are a bunch worth playing. If not, I might just add the 1-2 bigger ones to my 4 tables of cash or whatever.

I only play low MTT's if I have a losing streak in cash games, and if there isn't anything to do except playing poker. I play high MTT's and medium ones more often, but not a lot. If you lose in cash, go play 11$ and those small stakes. It is like play money to you and it is funny if you luckbox to the final table.
