Default Party 200NL Meh boat, vs aggro dude.

Villain is 22/17 and has been pushing me off a couple marginal hands earlier this session. But he could very well have had it both times. Basically if he is decent, he knows that unless I have 66/77 (which I most likely raise somewhere) I will have a hard time calling, since TT is pretty much the top of my range given that I reraise the bigger pairs 95% of the time.

Unless he has a fd this isn't a good board for him to 2nd barrel. This cuts down a lot on the possible bluffing hands he might have on the river. Besides people don't 3-barrel a lot on 200nl. Fold.

Given your history with him I think you have to call. I would have raised on the flop to see where he was at, but by playing this so passively you're just asking a worse hand to steal this pot from you. You've folded two hands to him already, I think it's time to take a stand, and you have a decent hand to do it with.

I also think that the two to one odds are probably enough to call here as well. If nothing else, you'll show him that he needs to stop trying to bet you off of medium strength hands.

Seriously. What 22/17 TAG valuebets a 6 or 7 with a $100'ish bet on this river? Question here is how often he gets here with air and decides to try anf push me off my hand, or how often he has JJ+.

that would make me even more inclined to call, since his range is wider than usual

Boy this is really close. I mean, he has to put you on a pocket pair of some degree after the flop/turn action, and the river changes nothing so it doesn't seem like a great spot for him to bluff since you look like you're in calldown mode. However, I think you're right that he's mostly ruling JJ+ out of your range and might just feel you can't take the heat.

Any read on his willingness to 3barrel, or bet sizing, or whatever would obviously be super useful. The fact that he's already running you over makes me more inclined to make a stand here for various reasons. I feel like I would call this but hate it.
