i dont get what you're trying to push him off.
I mean, maybe hes trying the whole "minraise for a free showdown" dealy, but idk, you generally have a few outs when you're called, but if hes minraising here with an A, i really doubt hes folding it. So you're figuring hes just trying to find out if you have an A really cheap? Bleh, also, what A is the smallest A you would push on this turn?

the more i think about it, the more im starting to like it. But i have absolutely no numbers or reasoning on why. It just seems like it works a lot.
I bet this post will help a LOT of people improve.

First, I shove AT+ maybe AJ+ against this player for value. Second, why the hell can't he fold an ace here?? third, he does make free showdown plays occasionally.

[/ QUOTE ] well, it doesnt really make sense that you would shove AT for value and at the same time expect him to fold a small A. I would assume that since he is minraising here with an A, then he would not fold it bc thats retarded. The fact that he will make free showdown plays (and on this board, it certainly looks like one) is what makes me like this push. Also, TRIPS ARE REALLY HARD TO MAKE.

ur description was weak regular. i'm just assuming he can't fold trips w/ a decent kicker. if u have a read other than that u should post it and things might change.
