Default Noah Feldman

This article by Noah Feldman is very interesting to me. For those who don't know him, here is a brief bio of Noah Feldman:

"Dr. Noah Feldman, D.Phil (Oxon), J.D. is an American author and professor of law at the New York University School of Law. However, he will be leaving NYU and joining the faculty of Harvard Law School. He worked as an advisor in the early days of the Paul Bremer transitional team in Iraq for the writing of the country's then unwritten constitution...

Noah Feldman is a graduate of Harvard University, Oxford University, Yale Law School, and Maimonides School. He won a Rhodes Scholarship and later served as a law clerk for Associate Justice David Souter on the U.S. Supreme Court. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, Arabic and French.

In Iraq [he] supports the creation of a democracy with Islamist elements. This last position has been lauded by some as a pragmatic and sensitive solution to the problems inherent in the creation of a new Iraqi government; others have taken exception to the same idea, however, characterizing Feldman's views as simplistic and shortsighted." - Wikipedia

So, he's a really smart guy. He also went to my high school (it's an interesting place) and his younger brother is one of my closest friends. I am currently engaged to a non-Jewish girl (who happens to share a name with Noah's non-Jewish wife, funnily enough). When I was dating her, but not yet engaged, I called Noah and spoke with him about his thoughts and experiences with the topic of Orthodox Judaism, family, dating, etc. Very interesting guy with very interesting views.

I'd be very curious to hear people's opinions on a)Orthodoxy in Judaism and in other religions (preferably from people who know something and are not just flamers) and b)Noah Feldman, Islam, and Democracy.
