Re: Ruling re: exposed card
[ QUOTE ]
I agree with Bav. It is very similar to the case where the dealer doesn't give the last player/players their second card. When action gets around to them, the dealer just gives them their next card. I've seen this several times. [/ QUOTE ] There is a significant difference which mentioned in my post. A player is not supposed to have the option to play an exposed card. You should have some concern that the player is looking at his other card/watching the action and then deciding whether he wants a new card or not. If it is certain that the player has not yet looked at his other card then I am inclined to agree that the card should be replaced. (obviously it should have been replaced automatically, but when that didn't happen the player should have spoken up immediately. |

Re: Ruling re: exposed card
Do you HAVE to get a new card if your card is exposed on the deal?

Do you HAVE to get a new card if your card is exposed on the deal? [/ QUOTE ] You could just muck both cards before the dealer tries to replace the exposed one. But if you want to play the hand, you do have to get a new card. |
