I just made a drunk bet that thr cardinals will not win the NL central. I gave 9-1 odds. Is this + or - ev.

baseball prospectus has the cards worse than 40 to 1 last time I checked

but RICK ANKIEL might ruin your plans

edit: just checked...cards were worse than 50 to 1 before tonight's game. 9 to 1 is an unbelievably good bet.
