Pink Chip Game at the Trop

Hey all,
Searched for this info but couldn't find what i was looking for. Can someone who's familiar with the pink chip game elaborate on the skill level of the players in it? Are they comprable to 5/10? nitty? loose? What's the rake structure for this game? Thanks in advance for the responses

Has the pink chip game been going on regularly? I was there in early Sept. and was tempted to get in, but it broke up and re-started 3 times in about two hours, then they shut it down for good.

Usually goes on weekends, rarely during the week. The Trop poker room is dying.

Really not sure, since I rarely play there anymore. A while back they were saying the new room would be up and running in Spring '08 but I don't know if that's still the plan.Too bad, as recently as early this year the Trop was my favorite room in AC.Their pink chip and 4/8 games were very profitable.

This weekend they didn't even have a pink chip table. That's too bad. I always considered it one of the best games in AC. But the Trop has all but abandoned it's once great limit games to make room for a bunch of 1/2 NL tables. Years ago, the pink chip game was known for it's insane action. It wasn't usual to see multiway pots with every street capped and four or five players showing down hands. I was very disappointed overall at my last visit to the Trop. I hope they get their act together since I really used to enjoy the room.

The pink game was going 2 weeks ago when I was there, went specifically to check it out. Game was full, watched it for about 20 minutes, but didnt get a seat. It was loose, but not the crazy game I had inticapated. Went back to the Borgata to play 10-20 instead......
