Default NBA All-Star Total

I don't know what it is, but man I would bet the under. These cats are out partying at all hours and have been for the last 2 nights, and surely will be again tonight. I take the obvious angle that they'll be too tired/hungover to get over the number. If the spread is large, it may be worth taking the dog too, as I don't see the West spending the energy to "put away" the East. Just some anecdotal observations.

Or they are so tired they play no defense and just show off their skills. Free baskets on each trip across the court has both teams scoring over 150 and easily covering the over....so....

yea, this bet is NOT free money. Someone's gonna be right and someone's gonna be wrong and I think the over is set pretty well.

I guess I'm going to hold off and see if I can get that 4.5 too... I might just put a unit on the moneyline favoring the east.

These are the records since the greatest player of all time left the NBA. The record is 3-4, favoring the west, with the east winning the last 2 years. The 4 years the west won, Shaq was with the west. I'm not sure when the last time Shaq's team LOST the all-star game.

2006 - 122-120 East 242 Total
2005 - 125-115 East 240 Total
2004 - 136-132 West 268 Total
2003 - 155-145 West (2OT) 300 Total
2002 - 135-120 West 255 Total
2001 - 111-110 East 221 Total
2000 - 137-126 West 263 Total

Therefore, I will be dropping 2 unit's on the east moneyline (which I got at +165). Everytime the east win's... the score has been under 245 in the last 7 years. I wasn't able to find the lines for those games, but I hope this information is helpful to anybody who has intentions to place a bet.

Also, if you intend to bet on the MVP for the game as a prop bet, a little information for you, I was considering doing this and betting towards lebron, and I looked, there has never been a player in NBA history win MVP in the All-Star game back -2-back years.
