I dont see why this is such a big deal?

Obviously ftp has the ability to see all the hole cards after the hand is over, some support guy just made a stupid mistake and send the wrong version of HHs.

If you've been following the AP scandal, they said that they didn't have this information in order to claim that it was impossible for there to be a superuser on the inside. This obviously turned out to be a lie, so it was a big deal when people found out they were lying. Full tilt has never claimed not to have this information because its information they SHOULD have.
People who think this would be a big deal if it had actually happened don't understand the AP scandal. Full tilt or any other poker site absolutely should and almost certainly does have this information internally available. This is in no way evidence that full tilt has or is particularly vulnerable to superusers. Also, I'd take 5 : 1 that this didn't actually happen.

LOL just seeing this thread now. Since I have the files I'd be glad to take you up on this for any amount you're willing.

Also just my thoughts: Of COURSE all the sites have this data, when AP said they didn't that was just one of a number of stupid things they said. The problem is that there isn't some program in place where when HHs are created, the support donkeys don't just type in the username, its spits them out with just the users hole cards, and away it goes. I don't see ANY circumstance where something like this should happen, especially given recent events.

Thanks,
Mark

I believe it.
FTP is slack as sh*t.
Seriously, you can interaccount xfr 500k without raising an eyebrow.

That said, I'd be shocked if there was anything beyond simple incompetence at work here.

LOL I'm sure we won't get one, because nobody seems to care about this. I'm kind of horrified by this. I mean, especially high stakes players should understand how screwed up this is. I totally understand that it probably some dude running the wrong program for a few hours in the morning sending out hand histories. But if someone came here and said:
Hey, I have 1000 hand history of the 25/50NL tables where you can see over 1000 hands exactly how all the high stakes regulars play, people in this forum would flip out. I know I would if someone got a hold of that for me.

Anyway, really surprised that across the board, this hasn't generated enough interested from anyone to even get FTP to comment, other than sending out an email to a few people saying:

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

We apologize for the file that was sent to you earlier this day.

We have been having some issues with our hand history program that has
caused us to send you the file in a script which you should not have
access to.

We do not know whether you will be sharing this file with other
players,
but as respect for Full Tilt Poker, and fairness to the other players,
we ask that you delete these hand histories.

Unfortunately, the same error that is occurring is restricting us from
sending you the hand histories in the correct format. If you email us
back in around 24 hours we should be able to resend you the hand
histories.

Again, we apologize that this has happened, and we hope that you make
the correct decision.

Regards,
FTP

That email is a bit odd also because they told someone the program still wasn't working and to check back in 24 hours, but I know the program WAS working long before this email was sent out, because they sent me normal correct hand histories.
