Survivor Season 2: Pog Island [GAME THREAD]
Outwit. Outplay. Outlast. Survivor: Pog Island. The rules of the game are simple: several average 2p2ers are abandoned in the middle of one of the most unforgiving places on earth: Pog Island. This small island village, plagued by werewolves, mafia families, serial killers, and flying pumpkins is where they make their home. Divided into two tribes, they participate in challenges every day; every night, the losing tribe must trek to Tribal Council to vote out one of their own. Halfway through the game, the game shifts to individual competitions when the tribes merge and become one, making the game every man for himself. The game is simple: Outwit, Outplay, Outlast. Whether through politics or by winning Immunity (protected you from recieving votes at Tribal Council), the goal is to be the last man standing. However, the players must be careful about who they send packing--after the merge, a jury of seven begins to form. At the end of the game, they vote for one of the members of the final two to win One Million Dollars (... that may not be in the budget, but we're working on some fun prizes anyway). Who will be the sole Survivor? THE FIRST TWIST There are SEVENTEEN survivor participants. They are as follows: MDoranD Alex Levin LuckayLuck HerbieGRD FCBLComish metsandfinsfan chuckleslovakian CallMeIshmael dmk Zurvan Boiler_bd Nicholasp27 ScottHoward His Boy Elroy Neil S valenzuela MaxxDaddy Rather than start divided into tribes, the first Immunity Challenge and Tribal Council will be every man for himself! What does this mean? An immunity challenge will be posted shortly. All contestants will have until THURSDAY, 9 PM Eastern to submit their answers. The player with the highest score on this challenge will win immunity. ANY PLAYER FAILING TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME PRIOR TO TRIBAL COUNCIL. The purposes of this are: 1) Weed out any non-participants early on. 2) If, after weeding out the non-participants, we have an odd number of players, one will be removed at Tribal Council. After that, the game will be split into two tribes. Pre-emptive FAQ: Q: Can I speak with other players, despite not being in tribes yet? A: Yes -- as of RIGHT NOW, all 17 players may talk to any other player, via any private or public method of communication (IM/PM/this thread). Q: Can I talk to other players about THIS IMMUNITY CHALLENGE once it is posted? A: No, you may not. That is the ONLY thing off-limits. Q: Will I always be able to talk to all players? A: No. After the first tribal council, the game will be divided into two tribes. At that point, you will only be able to talk to players in your tribe, except in this thread. Q: What happens if someone wins immunity, but a player gets booted for not participating. We'll have an even number, and you said that means no tribal council! A: If a tribal council is unnecessary to make even numbers (because 1 or 3 or 5 people fail to submit entries), then the immunity winner will gain a reward. For a point of reference, in Season 1, the secret reward was the ability to swap one player for another between tribes. Good luck to all the participants! |
