Why are all sites so tight

I`m a 5/10 player and would really like to play at FT, because of RB and shop, but everytime i play there (most at 0-3 am MET), there are only tags.
To be honest i hate playing against lags, which are raising my steals all the time and so on.

Should i just stay at PP or try out Stars?
Is there another site which you could recommend?
