Default NL100 | Finding The Edges Of Baluga

Opponent is 23/15/2.70 over 2.5k hands, seems lag-taggy like a 2p2er. I've never seen him 3b preflop. He took a long time to check the flop, then he insta-called.

I have been very active, and my flop bet size is meant to look like a CB. I'm expecting to be raised about 75% of the time here.

If SB checks?
If SB bets?

I think he has KQ or AK a lot so you have to fold to a big bet on that river. If he checks I probably just check it down.

Call the turn and probably fold to a river bet. I definitely wouldn't bet this river if he checked and would probably check a blank river also, though that may be missing a little value. He may be raising this turn with hands like 75hh, QJhh, 86 aswell as the obvious KQ and sets. I don't think hes firing big with anything you beat on the river so looks a safe fold.

on the river, check behind and fold to a bet. 75hh doesn't make much sense cuz there's no reason to wait for the turn to raise. Qxhh or JThh make more sense since the turn improves him. obv KQ makes a ton of sense too so I don't think folding the turn is bad but I probably call since we're in position. I think if the river was a blank and I was checked to I bet.

this is an interesting hand. If Im planning to fold the river I think I just fold the turn. Rarely will he c/c flop c/r turn and check river. Hes almost certainly pushing most any river.

just out of curiosity, is j10 of hearts or even any 2 hearts?

He 3 bets turn with flush / straight draw?

Wouldn't he be 3 betting the flop with KQ? Or even KJ?

Dunno just putting it out there.

if im calling this turn, i would be looking to get all in on the river.

i would most likely fold the turn tho, as this is pretty much a bluff/semibluff or a hand we cant beat, as i dont see any worse 2 pair hands in his range that would make this play for value. given reads and no history of villain being out of line and only having a 2.7 AF i think we can find a fold on the turn.

then again, if ur read is that villain is retarted enough to do this with 1 pair or a draw. then by all means i would shove over his raise on the turn. basically, if villain has a brain, and doesnt play back at u, this is a fold.
