Im grunching...
I 3bet larger preflop, but whatever your standard is. What is with the sizing on the flop bet? I make it more like 18. As played, I am unsure about his turn range because I am not sure if he is more likely to peel with such a small flop bet. I would say 89, TJd, ATd, QQ, JJ, AK, maabye he peeled with AQ or floats with a smaller pp. Against that range, I think you need to bet/call. Enough hands check behind for a free card or cheap showdown. I don't think he bets much of his range here on his own so build the pot yourself.

Your weird flop bet and his call probably means a float of some sort. Going for a CR doesn't seem like the best idea, as I feel a lot of his range here is just 1 pair type of hands that he may feel have some sort of showdown value.
I think you see FD, 98, and all sorts of pair+str8 combos calling a PSB on the turn but not BETTING the turn. Perhaps overbet or shove turn? You're winning against almost anything that calls you, and you don't have to face literally 1/2 the deck as a scare card on the river. Probably not the theoretical max EV, but definitely the hardest line to screw up.

The fact that he is a good, thinking player combined with your small bet on the flop leads me to believe that he might try to take the pot away from you on the turn. A turn raise looks strong from him (which is fine with us), but a c/r from us looks even stronger. He'll probably fold a lot of hands we could extract value from if we just bet and bet again on the river (like AT, AK, 77, etc). I think a turn c/r from us will make our flop bet look like it is-which is top set with the attitude of "ZOMG I HAVE TOP SET I CAN'T LOSE HIM" (not that was your intention, grunch). also- betting the turn is for value and hand protection and yada yada yada.
