you already know this so i dont get it.

the whole point of the cb is you have momentum in a hu pot. why would anyone bet the flop in a 3 way limped pot with worse than a jack?

Meh. He's betting weak draws, strong draws, jacks, 7s with a better kicker, and all kinds of [censored] that has you beat or has great equity against you, so calling the flop bet because you have a pair is a bad decision.

Calling with the intention of bluffing is different, and it's true that he folds a lot of it to your turn bet but I fail to see why you need a 7 in your hand to bluff (in fact I'd prefer NOT to, because then he's more likely to have one), and if I were to semi-bluff here I'd want more outs when called.

I agree with bilbo-san. Check/call is just gross here, and our cards are pretty irrelevant except that it makes it slightly less that he has a 7/set.
