For people who are worried about servers flirting with guys just to get a bigger tip, obviously this happens. I have been serving in a restaurant for nearly a year and girls do it quite commonly. However I have seen more servers come back and complain, "I wish they would just ask for my number instead of being so awkward" than those who have come back and said, "some creep just asked me for my number, on a date etc." Also an obvious side note, if you get said number or date set up it probably is a good idea to not stiff them on the tip. Obvious, but from some of the weird posts maybe not.
