Re: Crush live but not online
If you are making over 100k a year playing live. I wouldnt even mess around with the online games. Throw your computer out the window and go back to the casino. As for why most people can beat live games and not online, I equate it to college football and the NFL. Thousands of guys are stars in college but only a handful can play at the next level? Why? its the speed of the game that increases and most cant keep up. Speed changes everything playing online, it affects your concentration, it then lowers your discipline and patience too.

Re: Crush live but not online
Another problem is that most people just arent as good as they think they are. The dont keep accurate records and they exaggerate wins playing live, and suppress and/or forget about losses playing live. But when they start to play online they cant hide anymore because there is a papertrail that tells the truth. Im not calling you a lier but lets be honest for a minute, only a handfull of people in the world can and do win over 100k a year playing live poker.

Re: Crush live but not online
The 30/60 live you play is probably comparable to 2/4 or 3/6 in skill, as for 80/160 in vegas...that might be closer to 5/10 online, but since its live, you don't even have that many hands recorded and were probably running hot.
