Default ANALYZE THIS: 2 25/50 AK hands

Back in my new favorite game. I've been in for about 15 min and haven't done anything stupid yet. All stacks are 5k.

I raise in EP to 200 with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain is SB (Gravity, don't know much about him). He makes it 600. Then the BB smooth calls 600 and I call.

Flop is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villain open pushes

What would you normally do here?
You can probably guess what I did.

Other hand: My stack is 5k, villain (GregNizzle) covers. I get dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Gnizzle limps, another limp, I raise to 222, get 3 callers. It comes back around to Gnizzle, he pops it to 1500.

What are you doing here? I have my usual image of being laggy, raising a decent amount with non-premiums etc. Greg has played with me before.

I'm auto-pushing both hands, but I suck at full ring.

Gravity is bad, he called my $900 re raise with TT OOP, and called $1400 on the flop on a Q 7 2 board.. to spike a ten on the turn to crack my aces.

hand #1- I call.

hand #2- Ez Ez Fold.

Hand 1- Seems like an easy call. Depends on the player. But this guy its a standard call. he might have JJ-1010 or a worse overcards flush draw.

Hand 2- I would fold Flipping coins for 5K must be fun

Hand 1, call and assume you're against an overpair hopefully not AA-KK. Also consider pushing preflop for all the dead money in there. If Gravity is bad though, it's probably better to see a flop.

Hand 2, I usually push here unless Grizzle is a bad player who will lrr AA or KK the vast majority of the time w/ not too many other hands mixed in. IF that's the case, fold, but this looks like a great situation to steal for UTG if he's good as your pfr was too small and there's a bunch of weak money in the pot.

hand 1, instacall and u prb race most the time.

hand 2, i would fold unless you've seen him lrr w/ a bunch of hands that werent AA-KK, being 19-1 dog for 10k isnt neat.

call and push. anything else makes you a girl.

if it's my money, though, i'm folding both hands. you're just hoping for a coinflip, but you're probably not getting one in either case.

cardshark,

Hand #1 is an easy call. If he does this with QQ+ here (which Gravity definitely will, and possibly more) you're nearly a coinflip getting 10600:4400. Even if he only has KK+ a call here is still small +EV.

Hand #2 I dump it quick, you are way behind way too often vs GN there.
