villain is running at 15/11.7/2.1 over 60 hands

okay so ive raised with top set here after villain has made a cbet and i'm not sure if this is the most profitable way to play the hand. Villain made a cbet with 2 to a flush on the board. i'm thinking i should be calling a raise here haping he floated something and can hit on the turn so i can get further money out of him and raise regardless.

The reason i'd do this is because i dont feel like he would be betting into me with 2 diamonds in the hole otherwise he'd probably play for the freecard and try to hit, meaning that by calling im giving him a chance to a. hit an over card on the turn and give me lots more money or b. take another stab and just fold to a raise on the turn which i would do regardless of which card fell.

thoughts on whether you think this would be a better way to play or just win the single bet on the flop ?

you dont get any value out of him if he has air

actually it's not standard, you have to raise preflop!!!
and you have to raise more on the flop, if he calls a 2.5x raise, he's calling a 2.4$ raise or even more.

you basicly lost the most value preflop.

Villain is not going to try and take a free card OOP. There is far too great a chance that you will bet. If he has the draw, he's betting out.
