Default 400NL- AQ TP2K gets check-raised

Villain is running at 22/15/1.8 (~50 hands) when this hand occurs, I don't have any history with him, that's the first time I play with him and he didn't get out of line so far.

Everest Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00/$4.00 (HH Converter by Kreatief)

MP3 (614.50)
CO (458.50)
Button (240.80)
SB (455.70)
BB (544.90)
MP2 (435.00) (Hero)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $14.00</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB calls $12.00, <font color="#666666">1 folds</font>,

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ( $32 )
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $22.00</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $81.00</font>, Hero calls $59.00,

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ( $194 )
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $128.00</font>,

fold is reasonable or stupid ?

Folding isn't terrible at all especially since he is a bit passive.

I certainly don't think it would be stupid, but I def don't like it.

With no reads I'd let it go.

What is your range for his flop raise then?

That's a very open-ended question because it depends on some factors not mentioned in the OP. For instance, his own image at the time to the best of his knowledge. He said Villain hasn't gotten out of line but if he's been active at the table (Hero, that is) than that doesn't matter, because he will. If he's playing tight/solid, it would become more of a fold.

On the flop, a tough TAG could be doing it with KQ/QT/any A/any pair for hands we beat, plus everything that we don't, depending on OP's image/his mood at the time. Once he gets called, though, vast majority of the hands we're still beating shut down, and hands that keep betting are usually doing it because they beat AQ.

If I fold hands like this on the flop I'm gonna get checkraised 24/7.
