1. Aggressiveness wins money, Swedes are primarily winning players, so they're aggressive.

2. NL has been played by europeans longer, so maybe different styles/literature/forums have evolved for scandanavians extolling merits of uber-lag. The advantage for swedes is they get to benefit from twoplustwo, understanding the philosophy upon which good americans operate, AND probably have their own forums discussing how to use that knowledge to take advantage of solid American TAGS.

3. Scandanavians tend to be calm people who rarely get flustered, very important temperment ironically for wild play. A lot of supernits are head cases, but avoid that being a factor by nut peddling.

It goes back to their Viking past. Kicking ass and taking what they want.

We don't have a lot of casinos over here and I would guess that until a couple of years ago most gambling was on horses and sports. So maybe it is the case that a lot of us that play poker on international sites didn't start by stumbling over it while we were throwing our money away on -EV gambling opportunities. We actively sought it out including information on how to play.

If it is even true that we are aggressive. How did you get the impression that we are?

Our state run gambling monopoly has recently started a poker site so even if we happen to be more aggressive on average now I expect it will change. You just won't notice it since our fish will play here at home. Selection bias.

their agression wouldn't bother me so much if they weren't such [censored] luckboxes. pushing with 2% equity will catch up with them one day.
