Help me find interesting photographs
I'm in a photography class and every once in a while we have to write about a photograph (it's composition, denotative qualities, message, etc.) and I'm wondering if you guys can post some good photographs or point me towards some websites where I can flip through some interesting photos. They don't have to be blatantly "interesting" but photographs from some famous photographers are good, but so are photographs by anonymous people. If you can give me the name of the photographer who took it, that's great.
Thanks for any help. And while it may be fun please refrain from posting pictures such as this... !!NSFW!! I like the one in front Necking !!NSFW!! |

These winners were decided recently. Some rather powerful, awesome photos if ever there were any.

Migglemacdaddy: Try the International Center of Photography. Maybe they can help. [/ QUOTE ] You guys are awesome. I really appreciate. So far I've only looked at this website, but I'm expecting all of your suggestions to be great. I haven't looked at the actual photos on ICP, but I followed it to photomuse and found this picture of Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable on the set of The Misfits - the last movie by each. I dunno, it's touching. I'm certainly going to write about it. |

Re: Help me find interesting photographs
Go to http://www.photosig.com/
If you register, you can view photos taken primarily by amateurs, sorted by category. To make it easier, you can sort so that only high rated photos show up. Here is the top rated photo on the site: http://photos.photosig.com/photos/37...6a0589d933.jpg And, in case you're interested, they have a bunch of photos in the category "Erotic". |

Re: Help me find interesting photographs
I like the stuff Mark Tucker does.
Neil Turner also has some great stuff and you should definitely check out his 'technique' articles. Both these are into portraits and I like that, so I'm biased. There are usually very good news, feature and sports pictures at Sportsshooter. |
