The thing is mbillie, your acting like an even bigger tool that your judging all the fans. Who cares who you like e/c that you don't jump ship as your team starts to win / suck. I still love the 9ers and they are the worst team in the NFL, Kings and they are one of the worst teams in the NBA. Let's say I loved the 9ers but now I love the Pats. That's been pretty douche. Or I loved the Bulls and now the Spurs, again douche. I don't see how if you love your team, pathetic or non-pathetic through the thick and thin if you can be that much of a douche.

mbillie, I also grew up in Jersey and abhored both the NYC and Philly teams. I can't stand any NYC team and I can't stand any Philly team to this day. I don't live in the area any more though.

no dude, it isn't any fan of any of those teams... it's the combination of those teams. there are plenty of respectable 9ers, cowboys, yankees, etc fans. it's just that being a Yankees + Cowboys + Bulls + Red Wings fan usually means you're a giant 90's frontrunner. Which is toolish.

Yeah Hockey was always solid. But the Big 2 sports, we normally had nothing to cheer about.
