Are you asking if you should check behind river, the answer is no.

I would just shove the turn though. He's not going any where. Waiting to the river could just kill your action if a scare card falls.

On turn, I was worried about him having Axs. when he checked rvr I was pretty sure I had him beat. Is this thinking flawed?

you are overvaluing the strength of your hand from pf to strength on the flop where it drops like a rock. List on a piece of paper or in your head the viable hands besides a bluff that you beat, then add in the bluffs and see how often you make money here (on the flop) if you go ahead with the hand.

also, he is telling you things about his hand with his actions, thats another one of those things that pass through my pea brain while in a hand. a little zen, lol.
