Re: mike vick, the hits just keep on coming
OK, not rallies, I was being hyperbolic - but I mean, do something, ANYTHING to potentially help your case. Criminal cases are all about emotion, you can really impact your cause by doing something positive.
I realize smoking up is nothing compared to killing dogs, but you just don't get it - the relative severity of the crime is almost irrelevant (unless he killed someone this week). The point is, he [censored] up while on probation, which means the prosecutors have every right to break their plea deal (most likely), and that could totally screw him further. Seriously, if his top-dollar lawyers had any sense they would instructing him to donate money to animal-rescue organizations, or SOMETHING. There's a single dude in a black robe judging your ever move right now to decide how much time you should be spending getting [censored] in the shower... help your cause! |

Re: mike vick, the hits just keep on coming
[ QUOTE ]
It is so [censored] stupid that this is even news worthy and even more stupid that it could affect his sentence. "Ya I was only going to give you 2 years for running a dog fighting ring and murdering dogs with your bare hands but since you smoked a joint, 3". [/ QUOTE ] But he was released/on parole or whatever his status was and explicitly told that a condition was not breaking the law. (Like the dumb ass had to be told this.) And he breaks the law. I'm in favor of locking up these kind of people. |

Re: mike vick, the hits just keep on coming
[ QUOTE ]
That town meeting this was so terrible. The audience was filled with super ignorant people. One person asked the panel something about how goodell handled the belicheat thing vs. vick. The audience went wild at that "tough" question. [/ QUOTE ] I heard about 3 minutes of it on the radio - I'm not a big fan, but glad Neil Bortz was there to inject a little logic. |

He KNEW he was going to get drug tested, and he did it anyway! |
