AQ NL $400 hand
Villian is a 19/10 and I have a total of about 150 hands over 3 tables with him. From what I can tell he is pretty aggressive at 4.3 on all streets and CB at around 92%.
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (SB): $724.50 BB: $369.90 UTG: $433.80 MP: $466.50 CO: $1,353.40 BTN: $448.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG raises to $14.00, 3 folds, Hero calls $12.00, BB folds Flop: ($32) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $26.00, Hero raises to $80.00, UTG calls $54.00 When he just calls I put him on a draw and maybe JJ but more likely AK/AJ as I would and many others repop AA KK AQ QQ TT here with this draw heavy board. Does anybody just call here as the villian with just a one pair hand? Turn: ($192) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $136.00, UTG raises all-in to $339.80, Hero calls $203.80 I can fold this but something looked fishy to me. My spider sense told me he was on a draw but my head said ugh your probably beat. To me calling and folding are pretty close but I tend to lean on the call side with this kind of board. What do you guys think? River: ($871.60) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In) Pot Size: $871.60 ($3 Rake) UTG had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pair, Kings and Tens) and WON ( $434.80) Hero had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Queens and Tens) and LOST (-$433.80) |

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
I just called in the SB to let the BB play for cheap as he was clearly the worst player in this game 43/20. I usually repop AQ if I'm going to play but not against a UTG raiser.
My real question is how would you guys play the flop and turn? |

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
Is it close between calling and folding or just an easy fold?

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
Why would you c/r this flop against a 19/10?

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
I personally like spidey sense. It means you were guessing wildly about his range.

Why would you c/r this flop against a 19/10? [/ QUOTE ] I could lead out and he could pop me and that would tell me almost nothing but when I c/r him and he just calls then that tells me a lot more about his hand. |

Re: AQ NL $400 hand
When he goes allin on the turn it looks like a clear fold to me. I don't mind how you played it. I default to check/calling that flop though.

I personally like spidey sense. It means you were guessing wildly about his range. [/ QUOTE ] I guess I put him on something between top set and totally nothing. Is that too wide of a range? Umm I thought he had something like AJs AKs AQ KK AA QQ TT and off chance of KJs. Yes I know as Doyle has it firmly ingrained in my head that AQ is a piece of crap especially OOP. It just so happens that he had me reduced to a 5 out hand which I am fine with but given his range I have about 40% equity. |
