Favourite Teams Roll Call

Here is my current list

NFL - Chargers (LT fan and old enough to remember Fouts)
NHL- Red Wings (loved Stevie Y)
MLB - Jays
NBA - Raptors
NCAA - Auburn (or any team not USC or ND)

In the late 1970s early 80s my teams were
NFL - Houston Oilers ( Earl Campbell -- oh how I miss the H-o-u-ston 0-i-lers, H-o-u-ston 0-i-lers, (anyone remember the chant).

NHL - Bruins (hated Montreal so therefore, loved Bruins)
MLB - Red Sox
NBA - I don't know it seemed like there were only two teams - Lakers or Celtics...lol

NCAA - Penn State

i guess this list for most people would be "where did you grow up?"

nfl - sf 49ers
mlb - oakland a's and sf giants
nba - golden state warriors

don't follow hockey anymore but san jose sharks were my team (and still are come playoff time)

don't really have a college team, but if i had to pick, it'd be cal bears. obviously if ucsb did anything i'd cheer them on.

more interesting question would be, aside from your hometown teams what are your second fav teams?

I like this...

NFL - Bills I guess (I live in TO, so I see a lot of their games)

NHL - Penguins (Was a Lemieux freak as a kid)

NBA - Bulls (Liked them before we got the Raps)

MLB - Cubs (remind me of the Leafs)

NCAA - Notre Dame (I really liked Rudy)

International Soccer - Napoli (Italy)

in order of giving a crap:

MLB: Red Sox
NFL: Patriots, Panthers
college: UNC, Ohio State (grew up in Chapel Hill, parents met at tOSU)

might watch, but don't care that much:

NBA: Celtics
NHL: Bruins

I really don't care for the product the NBA puts out these days, and growing up in ACC country, college ball has always been in my blood. I never followed the NHL until I lived with a kid from Canada who got me into NHL2002 for PS2, after that I watched the Bruins because they were on NESN, but I have no real loyalty in hockey.

I hate college sports, but I guess I rooted for Cal when I was there, and still somewhat follow their results.
