what will we do about varkoni and moneymaker?
gold obv sucks, and his word dont mean [censored],but in a lot of tv hands they showed he talked his oppponents into doing exactly what he wanted, respect. HORSE cant be the true championship because the field is too small, even though its elite. i think a better idea is to make the main event NL holdem 50k buyin w/100k in chips. it would still get at least a 1000 players, and it would become 10 times less of a lottery. i also believe fish champions are great for the game in many ways.

But no-limit-hold'em is the Cadillac of poker. Some people, pros even, won't play no limit. They can't handle the swings.

[/ QUOTE ]

The first two cards are dealt face down. For the first time, players decide whether they are in, or out. Then the first three community cards are dealt, known as the flop

This is one of the most misleading things they tell you about poker on television. I don't even look at my two cards until AFTER the flop because I have also heard that "any two cards can win" so that's what I play!
