Prague Poker Rooms and Etiquette?
Has anyone played at the poker rooms in Prague? (What are all the rooms?) Some information I've found online is limited or seems out of date.
I'm mostly interested in no limit hold em, but will settle for pot limit hold em. I'll also play pot limit omaha. I'd like to play no lower than the equivalent of 2/4 in the US. I called the Hilton casino in Prague since I saw that the EPT would be held there this December. It seems like they only have cash games on certain nights. The lady I spoke to didn't speak good English and told me that buy-ins were 200 and 300 crowns on some nights, and that's like $10-15 which didn't make sense to me. Is it possible to call into any of the rooms to get added to the waitlist? Also, table etiquette any different than what you experience in Vegas? Thanks |

Re: Prague Poker Rooms and Etiquette?
I played at the Golden Prague poker room in Nov. 05. The people who run the Hilton used to run that one. The cash games would start around 7pm. At the time they only spread 100/200 ($4/$8) & 200/400 (8/16) hold'em. They would host a thursday night NLH tourny. I forget the buy in but it was probably around $40-$50.

Bump. I'm leaving for Prague on 10/2 and was thinking I might play a bit if at all possible...
