Default 3/6 HU 200BB deep

Been reading 2+2 for some time but just now felt the need to start posting! I don't have much HU experience but I always have trouble playing deep in this type of spots

Not much history on this guy. He plays pretty straight forward, rarely 3bets or calls them. I stacked him once where I hit a flush on the river and he called with top pair.

Now that we are 200BB deep I started loosening up and 3betting light. He was folding to most, called once and I c/folded and called another and folded to my cbet. I feel like he might be getting a bit frustrated with my 3bets but hasnt showed any sign of it yet.

Eff stacks 1200$

villain OPENS for 18$
hero 3BETS to 72$ w/ Qc Qs
villain 4BETS to 215$
hero CALLS.

flop comes 5c 9h Th / pot is 430$

hero CHECKS
villain BETS 350$
hero...

Should I have 5bet pre, knowing this was the first time he made a stand preflop and I could be dominated or coinflipping at best if called?

Call flop and evaluate? What if an A/K/J comes, or another heart? What about a blank? c/f? c/c? crai?

easiest shove ever. preflop raise size seems unnecessarily large also.

LOL at this being an easy shove.

I don't mind a shove, but I'm shoving because I think he has a worst hand here and is folding not because I think he's calling with a worst hand unless it's Ahxh, or a combo heart draw the he decided to go crazy with preflop.

But given the description of villain folding wouldn't be awful either. I would rather bet the flop because it seems like he's the type that isn't going to raise you with a worse hand and it makes the hand a lot easier to play.

Thanks for the helpful response.

I didn't think shoving was the best play but didn't know what to do either. I think leading would be good although I think he's betting the flop the majority of the time even with air.

As for the large 3bet, when 100BB deep I don't do them as large but maybe it's still too much for 200BB?

Your 3bet size isn't too big, when 100BB deep HU I make my 3bet 63, 200BB I would probably go to 70.
