You take your life into your hands when you browse 2+2 at work. I can't count how many times I open a thread, it sucks, then someone just starts posting pictures of near-naked women.

Also, how close are people to your screen that avatars are visible and capable of being offensive?

If there are individual ones you don't like, just right click and block images for that avatar w/o disabling all.

Perhaps, but then I've never understood the whole NSFW thing anyway. Are there actually workplaces where pictures of semi-naked women aren't allowed, but a poker forum is? I would think that if a person's place of work actually cares about what they do with their computer, a poker site certainly wouldn't be acceptable.

Unless, of course, your workplace actually IS a poker site.

Actually I work at a casino. Poker site is research. NSFW images are bad.

Any kind of pic is going to attract more attention from someone looking over your shoulder. The only time I've ever been hassled at work about 2+2 was from a NSFW avatar.

Iron81,

I like the avatar, but it is a little to quick IMO. Needs a second or two more after he puts on the hat.

FWIW if you see an avatar that you think crosses a line you can report it to a mod and they can decide if they agree. If they don't you can try another mod .

[/ QUOTE ]

That's how I lost this avatar.

Compared to some of the ones I've seen lately (4drugmoney comes to mind (then runs through the mind over and over again)) it's not that bad anymore.
