Default Confuzzled on River

I don't have ptracker running because it froze my computer but I imagine villain is in the 30/15 range. He sees a lot of flops and is at least reads 2+2 because he asked me at the table if I'm "the real FGators". lol. Anyway, what do you think I should do on the river?

We both have over $400, FWIW.

Hero raises to $8 on button with 108spades. BB calls

Flop: 10 8 7 rainbow
BB checks, Hero bets $12, BB calls

Turn: K no flush
BB checks, hero bets $38, BB calls

River: 7
BB checks, hero?

That card shouldn't change anything. Kx now beats you, but he shouldn't have that unless he has KT. We'd probably hear from that on the turn. I'd assume he'd also reraise JJ preflop, so I don't see what he could have that beats us. So I bet 2/3 pot.

i think its a check but i cant really explain why.

seems like he can have 79 here a lot for the pair+oesd on the flop. his trips are pretty disguised then and he might try to check/raise the river.

also sometimes he'll slowplay a hand like JJ pre, sometimes he has AK played in a really passive retarded fashion like some people do, and sometimes he'll just c/r you with something that he thinks is the best hand, or if he senses weakness.

of course he can have J9 here for the flopped nuts too. then he might just c/c the river when the board pairs since he doesn't have the nuts anymore.

the pot is sort of large and the deep stacks give you reverse implied odds so i think check is good.

ps im stoned so im not really sure if that made sense.

Easy check, he either had a draw or is just killing you.
