this line is straight up a flush way too often. sucks to fold, but patience pays off a ridiculous amount of $.

He either chased the flush draw or he's repping that he did... Any reads?

but what was he playing along with to rep the hand?

i guess we can beat a slowplayed 55 here, and QJ if he's really that tricky (but is QJ really calling from the sb here?). it just seems much more like a weakly played AdQd vs an ep raise. hero showed a decent amount of strength throughout the entire hand, so i think it is too odd for a random scare-card-river-bluff.

I think he can have QJ here if he's good, because it's a great card to bluff. But he has a flush way too often IMO, good fold.

I assume you dont have reads because you didnt post them, without reads this is an easy fold.

Yeah, sorry. No reads as haven't been at table long enough with villain to know much for sure. Hasn't done anything crazy yet at least.

I think your turn bet was too small. There are a lot of draws out there including combo draws and his call on the flop indicates he has something. There are a lot of river cards that will leave you unsure if you are ahead if the action gets heavy.

As played, I probably call because his size bet gives him the proper value for chasing a flush draw or a combo draw but not by much. You can beat one and two pair blocking bets and busted draw bets. Call or fold is about the same, but you get some info from calling.

If any reasonable hand for him could have have hit two pair it could be a stong value bet I guess, given that a big one-pair hand is what you look like holding, but you are surely behind too often to call at FR unless you have some sort of read on him.
