16: Please grunch QQ vs a good regular
This spot comes up frequently, so I would like to see everyone grunch so we can get a consensus standard. Re: 16: QQ vs a good regular
I call and evaluate the flop. He is probably on AK+, JJ+. You're can probably get it in profitably on a non A or K flop.

Re: 16: QQ vs a good regular
I think shoving is a profitable play here. He could have AA or KK, but he could also have JJ,QQ or be c-betting AK (though the bet is somewhat large).

Re: 16: QQ vs a good regular
i dont see a good regular leading pot with ak into multiway action so the only thing you beat imo is JJ. i'd fold this.

Re: 16: QQ vs a good regular
I think we see a large continuation bet because he doesn't have the goods. I'd say push. If he has real nitty stats for the first few rounds, I would not however.

against an unknown I assume that likelihood of JJ>>>>>>>>AA due to 4x raise preflop.

Re: 16: QQ vs a good regular
OP...I think we really need a better definition of "good regular". Good regular is often different than 2p2 for example. If somebody is a good 2p2 player.....this is a little different than your standard +ROI good regular.
Against a good 2p2 player, I might just call (or lead) the flop. Against your standard "good regular"....which is most of the people online. I usually CRAI this flop. |
