Default $16 JJ push?

My image since we hit 75/150 has been pretty aggressive up to this point although I've folded about my last 7 hands. No real read on the villan because I've been reading posts here. I'm guessing pushing is the best option here. What do you think?

CO (t2560)

SB (t3662)
BB (t1767)
UTG (t1870)
Hero (t1988)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]], J[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]].
UTG raises 300 to 500, Hero raises 1488 to 1988, 5 folds...

I'd push here, but I'm not totally happy about it. I'd rather he shoved UTG than raised 2.5x - sometimes these small raises from stacks less than 10 BB mean real strength.

I don't see how we can fold, or just flat call, so shoving is our only option.
