Best Mario Kart Game

I have a theory. A little bit redundant to have two polls, but it will be nice to see the first one separately. I'll go over my theory after we get some votes.

im going to check back because this upsets me. i cant believe people voted for mario kart double dash. that game is lame.

also when you put the poll together are you aware of the fact that you forgot a mario kart game. there is a limited arcade release of mario kart. im not saying that this is the best or even compares to some of the MK's. infact it sucks. just thought i would let you know there is another one

I saw that there was an arcade game after I made the post. Shouldn't really matter as I doubt many of us have even heard of it let alone played it let alone think it's the best one.

I could have left DD and Advance out of the poll as they're not really contenders. I'm really just interested in Super vs. 64.

Let's face it -- all the Mario Karts are good and pretty similar. I think people tend to like the one that they spent the most time playing, which they'll have the most positive memories of.

In fact, if OP's theory is something along the lines of "the MK that was out when you were in college is the one you'll like", I'd probably buy into it (even though I actually voted against that theory).

I've played it too and it's horrible, waste of gameworks credits [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] It's very kiddy aswell.

Mario Kart DS is the best of the series for me.
Mario Kart is all about multiplayer and the DS with online play has made it really easy to play against friends nomatter where they are in the world... or even some random japanese dude.

Hoping for big things from Mario Kart Wii.

MarioKart64 is great because of the 4 player action. This edges out SNES MarioKart. Both of these games are much better than doubledash.

and online play, and mission mode (which is a lot more fun than it sounds)
