I like the jam on 5th. We just caught a live pair to our door card, i doubt villian is jamming with an 8-7 draw + a pair.

This is a made 8-7 the vast majority of the time. Sure, it could be 5-6 in the hole, but his range probably includes all made 8-7's. In which case I think we have substantial equity to jam.

Check/call is preferred on 6th.

I like the bet on 7th, especially if villain will fold 1 pair that beats us.

just for fun, here's the results:

i scooped the pot. my 76 beat his 87 for low and my pr. 5's was good for high.

nevertheless (is that supposed to be 1 word?), i see that my bet/call on 6th was spew and that my jam on 5th was pretty marginal with the dead 4's. I would be proud of my jam on 5th were just 1 or none of the 4's dead, but as it stands, i'm pretty much EV neutral against the range that i SHOULD have put him on on 5th street. maybe a slight edge because i was very confident that he had 87 low on 5th, but almost negligable given the dead 4's.

the 9 he hit on 6th gave him an up and down draw (his hole was A6) - still 2dimes only shows it as a slight edge there (since i held 2 of the fives, i guess), around 45/55 his favor on 6th.

so EV neutral + small spew = ship the 17 BB pot and prolly ship away other (hopefully less spewy) pots in the future...

Folding third would be ridiculous.

You played it fine. Even with the dead 4's you're correct in getting more money in on each street (except 6th, of course).

I might suggest raising 3rd - espeically after the queen limps. You're in quite good shape 4 handed there.
