nlcash, top/bottom vs probable 2p2er
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
BB: $105.00 Hero (SB): $284.50 Reads: Villain is sneakrfreakr or something like that, thought i recognized him as 2p2. Match has been going on for a little while, I've been in control for the majority. Started out 3bing a pretty good amt, but was calling and c/fing like a fish too. so i went kinda passive from the bb, started calling with all of my range for awhile. won this pot off him, after which he's been playing a much sharper game. Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (BB): $185.80 SB: $104.70 Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB raises to $3.00, Hero calls $2.00 Flop: ($6) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, SB bets $5.00, Hero calls $5.00 Turn: ($16) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, SB bets $12.00, Hero raises to $40.00, SB raises all-in to $96.70, Hero calls $56.70 River: ($209.40) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In) Pot Size: $209.40 ($0.50 Rake) SB had 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Nines) and LOST (-$104.70) Hero had T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a straight, King high) and WON (+$104.20) Overall he seems pretty good, calls a lot oop though. I've got some pretty thin vbs in on him so far but there weren't any other really big pots. I wasn't too sure of what to do on the flop, raising and felting seems like the standard but is there any merit to peeling one off and seeing how our equity changes? stats wise im 48/38/3(loose for me) and hes 55/41/3 so far Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero raises to $3.00, BB calls $2.00 Flop: ($6) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, Hero bets $5.00, BB raises to $18.00 Pot Size: $29.00 |

Re: nlcash, top/bottom vs probable 2p2er
Hand 2, get it in on the flop since you are OOP. If he has you, it's a cooler.

[ QUOTE ]
i'm actually ip in hand 2 [/ QUOTE ] Details, details. Ok. Getting it in here isn't bad still. I had a similar hand and the naked J ended up calling my flop push (no flush draw for him). Flat calling is "meh" since you have to fold to a push if any J,A,9 or club comes out... that means more cards could come on the turn that hurt you, than help you (it's almost 50/50). |

good point, thanks for the reply.
gonna wait awhile before posting my action and (admittedly muddled) thought process. |
